I’ve been working on a novella. It seemed like it would be a novel, but its natural length is 11K-12K words.
It’s called FUMES.
The final draft exists, which means the fun part is over. I’m now working on a distribution plan. Expect FUMES to be released this summer.
I’m comfortable sharing a very brief excerpt. It’s an interlude. It sits on its own page between sections I and II of the novella:
“I’m sorry to hear that. Charlie was always goin to be a trouble child. Them eighties was hard on they family. Charlie got borned into all that stuff. But does it surprise me? That’s your question? No. Like I say—he was always goin to be trouble.”
Once a release date is finalized, you’ll be the first to know.
